WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT?

The best to visit the Caribbean is during the low humidity months of December-April, this is also opposite to hurricane season. Although tourism will be more prominent during these months, to avoid the crowds I would recommend going during the beginning of May.

TRAVELING IN THE CARIBBEAN:

The best way to see the Caribbean is by plane and boat. Since they are all very small islands, the only way to get to them is usually by plane or boat. Once you have arrived to the island, depending on where you go, there may not even be cars (some islands in The Bahamas the main method of transportation is golf cart).

I would recommend island hopping with a boat at some point during your Caribbean vacation! You can rent a boat from a majority of places or book a tour to have a local show you around.

WHAT BUDGET SHOULD I PLAN FOR IN THE CARIBBEAN?

This really depends on what country you're going to, each country really differs in prices. You can plan to spend anywhere between $50-$300/day including accommodations, transportation, and food.

For the Bahamas and US Virgin Islands, you should plan to spend between $150-$200/day.
